The Messier Marathon

Attempt #1: 11-13/03/2005 - Treignes (Belgium)

Setting: A weekend in a nice house set up by our local group of deep sky observers in a dark location.

Result: The weather gods did not like their sacrifice (consumtion of a variety of local delicacies the evening before) too much and twarthed our attempt. Only a 30 minute hole in the cloudcover permitted some observing. 18 Messier object were observed in that period.
